Ewing Park
Ewing Park is the largest park in
the Borough of Ellwood City and is home to the facilities that Lincoln High
School uses for its high school sporting events. Ewing Park is easily
accessible from State Routes 65 and 488. Streets within Ewing Park
include Madison, Jefferson, Adams, and Washington Avenues, all named after
United States presidents. Another main causeway in
Ewing Park is Carmen Beatrice Drive, named after the late Carmen Beatrice who was
a significant contributor to many Ellwood sports and is recognized and
remember by many in Ewing Park and Ellwood City community. Other
attractions include a public pool, picnic pavilions, nature trails, and
plenty of other amenities.

R.C. Steifel Park
Stiefel Park is
located high on the southern hills within the Borough of Ellwood
City. The main causeway into Stiefel Park, Hack Wilson Drive, is named
after a famous Ellwoodian and Major League Baseball record holder. Hack
Wilson. Wilson played for the Chicago Cubs in the early 20th century and
still holds the Major League Record for RBI's in one season with 191.
Following Hack Wilson drive into Stiefel park will lead you to a number of
fields, including the softball field which the Lincoln High School
softball teams compete. From Stiefel Park a viewer can look out over
the distance into Franklin Township and Beaver County, neighboring township
and county of Ellwood City.

Merit Book Park
The smallest of the three established parks in
the Borough of Ellwood City, Merit Book Park is located in the North Side
area of Ellwood City just off of State Route 288. Merit Book Park has
a baseball/softball field as well as a shelter and jungle gym playground
area.

Area Golfing
Ellwood City offers multiple golf courses, scenic parks, and a beautiful
year around nature trail - Ellwood City offers a lot to do for the sports
enthusiasts, or just for the person feeling the need to get out for awhile!
Del Mar Golf Course

Located between Ellwood City and Wampum, Pa., the course provides a
golfing challenge with an assortment of 18 holes on rambling hills
surrounded by trees with irrigated fairways and the largest professionally
cared greens in the area. The lounge/restaurant/bar has been renovated and
provides catering services to small and large groups. A new outdoor steel
and cement golf pavilion is available to accommodate over 200 guests
for field days, tournaments, and special events.
Connoquenessing Country Club
Located near the Connoquenessing Creek on Rt. 65 just outside Ellwood City
and 20
minutes from the Northern suburbs of Pittsburgh, Connoquenessing Country
Club offers a
great golfing experience in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. The 18 hole golf
course is routed over the rolling hills of Western Pennsylvania, offering
panoramic views in a natural country setting. The Connoquenessing Country
Club is a place to golf, dine and meet new people. The Board of Directors
welcome you to apply for membership and offers for you to tour their
facilities and decide for yourself.
